Rihanna Bans Umbrellas From Show

Rihanna has banned umbrellas from her shows for safety reasons.

The 20-year-old star has insisted the item be confiscated from fans, in case they injure themselves trying to copy the dance routine to her hit song 'Umbrella’.

Andy McDonald, a security guard at the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre, where Rihanna performed on Monday (03.03.08), said: 'We were taking precautions over a potential accident.

We were told Rihanna’s song features dancing with umbrellas on stage. We didn’t want the crowd following her actions and someone getting their eye poked out.'

The decision follows reports of several injuries caused by umbrella-related incidents during Rihanna’s recent European dates. One fan due to attend one of the singer’s upcoming shows said: 'I was really looking forward to whipping out my umbrella during the song. I have been practising the routine for weeks but it has all been for nothing.'

Rihanna's own line of umbrellas are for sale on her tour at merchandise stalls but are only put up for sale AFTER the show.

Rihanna performed at the Liverpool Echo Arena yesterday (05.03.08) and is performing at Bournemouth’s Windsor Hall today (06.03.08). Her final UK date will be at London’s O2 arena on Friday (07.03.08). (I'm going to the show at the O2 arena, fourth row from the front baby!! :D)

Rihanna & Chris Brown - OFFICIALLY A COUPLE!

Yay! it's finally official that they are dating, here's the news:

Rihanna and Chris Brown have confirmed they are a couple by openly frolicking in a hotel swimming pool.

The 'Umbrella' singer and the R&B star have been enjoying a romantic holiday in Jamaica and couldn't keep their hands off each other during a dip in the Hilton Kingston Hotel pool.

A source told gossip website pagesix.com: "They were smooching in the pool and were really lovely dovey. They were playfully making out and he was kissing her on the neck.

"They were floating together with him carrying her and she kept saying, 'Don't get my hair wet!' She was very soft and feminine but he was like a big kid splashing all around."

The couple also got matching star tattoos on their necks during their break. Rihanna was first linked to Chris earlier this month after he helped her celebrate her 20th birthday. During the bash, Chris was given a standing ovation after he sang 'Happy Birthday' to the Barbadian singer.

Hmm.. but then again it could be fake? what do you guys think??

Madonna new album name revealed as "Hard Candy"

Madonna's new album will be called 'Hard Candy'.

The 49-year-old superstar's new LP - her final one with her long-term record label Warner Bros. - will be released on April 29. The first single from it, 'Four Minutes', featuring Justin Timberlake, will hit the shelves at the end of March.

Speaking about the album - which includes the Pharrell Williams produced track 'Candy Store' - Madonna's representative Liz Rosenberg said: "Madonna loves candy. The name of the album is about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expresses it, 'I'm going to kick you're a**, but it's going to make you feel good.' "

The new record will also feature tracks produced by 'Apologize' star Timbaland, who recently admitted he was "still in shock" at getting the chance to work with Madonna.

Madonna recently signed a huge 10-year recording, touring and merchandising deal with Artist Nation, part of concert promoter Live Nation. Meanwhile, it has been announced Timberlake will induct Madonna into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a ceremony at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on March 10.

Ne-Yo Arrested!

TMZ has learned that R&B singer Ne-Yo, aka Shaffer Smith, was arrewsted on Feb. 19 while driving through Cobb County, Georgia.

Cops pulled Ne-Yo after they observed him driving well over 100 mph in his 2006 Range Rover.

He was arrested for reckless driving and for not having a valid license.

Britney's Reuinted With Her Kids!

Britney Spears was reunited with her sons on Saturday (23.02.08)

The troubled singer - who lost visitation rights to two-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, 17 months, earlier this year - spent three hours with the boys, along with her father Jamie and her psychiatrist, in her Hollywood home.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, the lawyer for Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline, said his client had been instrumental in reinstating Britney's visitation rights, adding: "The process of reinstating the children's mother as a participant in their lives can commence."

A court order preventing Britney from seeing her sons was put in place at the beginning of the year after she refused to return the children to Kevin. After police were called to her Los Angeles home, Britney was taken to a local hospital for psychiatric treatment.

She was later released but was readmitted earlier this month and spent six days receiving treatment for mental health problems.

Keep it up Britney! you're doing great xx

Janet Jackson - Discipline (Track-By-Track Review)

Ok guys, i've heard the new Janet Jackson album! So i'm here to give you a track-by-track review so you can make up you're mind if you wanna buy it when it comes out in stores (1 week/2 weeks time) by the way, i'm not gonna count the interludes, since there a bit pointless.. there a nice touch to the album though!


1. I.D. (Interlude)
2. Feedback - 8.5/10 - A great dance track, and a brilliant first song on the album
3. LUV - 9/10 - LOVE THIS, so damn catchy, great R&B/Pop track!
4. Spinnin (Interlude)
5. Rollercoaster - 8.5/10 - Very original and different, Brilliant R&B track :)
6. Bathroom Break (Interlude)
7. Rock With U - 8/10 - This is classic Janet, it's a brilliant song you could dance too in the clubs
8. 2nite - 9/10 - Another great dance track! and it's brilliant how there's no interludes between this and Rock With U so you go from one club track to another!
9. Can't B Good - 7/10 - A nice relaxing mid-tempo track from Janet, very nice track
10. 4 Words (Interlude)
11. Never Letchu Go - 7/10 - A beautiful slow ballad-like love song
12. Truth Or Dare (Interlude)
13. Greatest X - 7/10 - Another slow one! very relaxing and soothing
14. Good Morning Janet (Interlude)
15. So Much Betta - 8.5/10 - Yay! Up-tempo again, Such a great song to dance too, although the squeaky robotic voice in this song might get on you're nerves after a few listens! (It's quite cute though)

17. The 1 feat. Missy Elliott - 7/10 - Another great up-tempo R&B track, a bit repetitive at times though
18. What's Ur Name - 8/10 - A mid-tempo R&B track that's very catchy (well i was singing a long after a few listens, haha)
19. The Meaning (Interlude)
20. Discipline - 7/10 - A slow, sexy song, and we all know Janet needs to have a sex song on a album! However many will find this quite boring and is one of the weakest songs on the album, unfortunately, it still is a good track though
21. Back (Interlude)
22. Curtains - 7.5/10 - Not the best closing to a album but it is a great track, it reminds me of a quite jazz influenced track or is it just me? you could still call this a R&B track though and it's another great catchy track with a great chorus

Overall: 8.5/10 - Brilliant album, I highly recommend it, many catchy tracks, however if you're not a fan of slow/mid-tempo tracks, this isn't really the album for you and you're only gonna enjoy the first half of the album as the first half is packed full of up-tempo R&B/dance tracks and has only about roughly 2 up-tempo tracks in the second half of the album, however, die hard Janet Jackson fans will enjoy this album I think :)

Fergie And Rihanna - Album Update

Fergie's debut album was quite a catchy album for me with some good songs, but now she's gearing up for a second album which is apparently "half done" there has been rumours for an album release March 1st but obviously this is fake (we would have heard the first single from it by now!) So looks like no new Fergie until mid/late 2008, maybe even going into 2009!?


Now another great star, Rihanna who's BRILLIANT album "Good Girl Gone Bad" came out last year May/June 07 has a fourth album coming out BUT everyone is saying "i'm bored of her, why can't she take a break?" well if she loves making music, then let her do it! anyway, her fourth album is most likely to come out late 2008/early 2009 as in a interview with Ryan Seacrest she said more about her fourth album with "I am not in the studio yet, Not yet no, We're not gonna have an album out this year, probably the top of next year in 2009"

Can't wait for both new albums, which album are you looking forward to most? I'm looking forward to Rihanna most :)

Janet Jackson To Marry!

Janet Jackson is set to marry long-term boyfriend Jermaine Dupri.


The 'Feedback' singer - who has been dating record producer Jermaine since 2002 - is planning an intimate wedding ceremony for later this year.

A source close to the singer told the New York Post newspaper: "Janet is preparing for her private nuptials at the moment."

However, Janet recently revealed she thinks she might be "jinxed" when it comes to marriage after going through two bitter divorce battles.

She said: "After two divorces, I thought I was jinxed. Maybe marriage isn't for me? Maybe it's my fault it never works. I was always faithful. I always tried to give of myself. I was very loyal. But maybe I'm the problem. I think I'm to blame."

The 41-year-old singer - who was previously married to Rene Elizondo and James DeBarge - added: "Getting divorced was so awful, and I'm really tired of being hurt all the time."

Jennifer Lopez Has Twins!

Jennifer Lopez has given birth to a twin boy and girl.

The 'Do It Well' singer and husband Marc Anthony welcomed a baby girl, weighing 5 lbs 7 oz, at 12.12am this morning (22.02.08), followed by a 6 lbs baby boy at 12.23am, at Long Island's North Shore University Hospital. Jennifer's manager Simon Fields said: "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon."

The twins are 38-year-old star Jennifer's first children, while Marc, 39, already has three kids.

Jennifer - who announced her pregnancy during a concert last November, ending months of speculation - is reported to have given birth in a luxurious hospital suite. The room came complete with wooden flooring, a brown leather couch and two giant plasma TV screens.

The couple are said to be considering the names Max and Emme for their babies.

People magazine is rumoured to have offered the couple - who married in June 2004 - a staggering $6 million for first pictures of the tots.

Seal And Heidi Invite Britney To Move In!

Heidi Klum has invited Britney Spears to move in with her.


The 'Project Runway' host - who lives with her three children and husband Seal - says 26-year-old Britney would benefit from living in an ordinary family environment.

She said: "She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months. I would help set her straight.

"I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track. She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life."

German-born Heidi, 34, also said she can't imagine her life getting any better.

She added to German broadcaster ARD: "I have never been as happy as I am today. I have found the man of my life, and we have three great kids. They are all so different and fantastic that it really can't get better than this."

Heidi isn't the only celebrity to have offered to help Britney, whose recent behaviour includes shaving her head, stealing underwear from an adult store and refusing to give her two children back to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Brooke Shields, Terri Irwin and Britney's ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake have all reportedly offered to help get her back on the straight and narrow.

Ozzy Osbourne's Getting Worried..

Ozzy Osbourne is so nervous about presenting the BRIT Awards he is considering turning to drugs.


The ageing rocker, famed for his past substance abuse, is hosting the prestigious London ceremony on Wednesday (20.02.08) with wife Sharon but is worried he will forget the names of the acts he is introducing.

He said: "I can never seem to recall anyone's name and I'm always putting my foot in it.

"Sharon can meet someone in an airport in 1973, then again in 2005, and remember that they are called Jimmy. Maybe I should start smoking dope again."

However, one performer who has faith in Ozzy's presenting ability is Sir Paul McCartney, who is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

He said: "This year will be outstanding - because Ozzy is presenting." Sharon tricked Ozzy into agreeing to host the show by taking advantage of his admiration for The Beatles legend.

The former Black Sabbath frontman said: "Sharon said to me, 'How would you like to present a Lifetime Achievement award to Sir Paul McCartney?' So of course I said, 'Oh, brilliant!' and then I find out we have to present the whole show!"

Ozzy and Sharon have been practising their routine with children Kelly and Jack, who are will present awards at the Earl's Court ceremony.

Sharon said: "Kelly and Jack are doing the BRITs too, so we were practising our lines around the dinner table yesterday. We all stood up when it was our turn to say a line."

Pink splits from husband

Pink has confirmed she has split from her husband.


The 'Stupid Girls' singer and her husband of two years, motocross racer Carey Hart, insist their marriage has come to an amicable end.

Pink's publicist Michelle Schweitzer said: "Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

The pair first met in 2001 but broke-up in 2003.

However, they soon rekindled their romance and in 2005, Pink proposed as Carey competed in a biking competition at Mammoth Lakes, California. They married in January 2006 in a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica, in front of guests including Lisa Marie Presley.

However, last summer their union was said to be on the rocks as the singer had grown tired with her husband's constant dalliances with other women. A source said at the time: "Divorce is just around the corner. Carey has this one blonde in particular that he takes everywhere, even public appearances. But Pink knew what she was getting into!"

Pink was also seen kissing a mystery woman at Santa Monica's Viceroy Hotel. A source said: "She was flirting the way you'd expect her to flirt with a man, cuddling and being overly affectionate. They were making out."

Avril Lavigne - Pregnant

Another female singer to check off the list that's pregnant, that's right Avril Lavigne is pregnant (i never would have thought since she acts quite young, dresses it, and doesn't really act like the "mumsy" type, but who knows?)

The 'Girlfriend' singer and husband Deryck Whibley were spotted shopping at Los Angeles baby store Petit Tresor on Monday (18.02.08) as well as exclusive boutiques Kitson for Kids and Lisa Kline Kids.

During their spree in Petit Tresor, the couple reportedly purchased a cheetah diaper bag, baby AC/DC T-shirts and a pacifier holder. The 23-year-old star also appeared to be shielding a possible baby bump by hiding her stomach with a large bag, according to photo agency x17.

Avril recently denied rumours she was expecting, insisting people are always making up stories about her.

She said: "Remember in high school when people would start fake rumours about you? Well, this isn't high school - it's like the entire world."

Yeah, yeah Avril.. the truth will be revealed soon!

Britney Spears - "I Want My Life Back"

The troubled singer - who was recently admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for psychological evaluation - has contacted a new lawyer because she is tired of being told what to do.

Britney - whose father Jamie is co-conservator of her estate and all her legal decisions - told prospective lawyer Jon Eardley: "I want my life back. I want to be able to drive my car. I want to be able to live in my house by myself. I want to say who is going to be my security guard. I want to see who I want to see at any time and make it happen."

Geri Halliwell - Spice Girls Are Over

Geri Halliwell claims the Spice Girls are unlikely to ever perform as a five-piece again.

The group recently announced their reunion tour was coming to an early close on February 26 and Ginger Spice Geri says fans won't get another chance to see them.

Geri - who sensationally quit the band in 1998 in the middle of their first world tour - said: "It probably won't happen ever again.

The Toronto concert on February 26 will be the last time you will ever get to see this Girl Power, the five Spices on the stage as one."

When Geri and the other girls - Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C - announced the tour was ending, speculation was rife there had been a huge fall-out.

However, Geri insists it couldn't be further from the truth, and says it had to end because the girls needed to put their families first.

Madonna - Album News

Producer Nate 'Danja' Hills, who with Timbaland produced Justin Timberlake's 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' album, has been working on the next Madonna album.

Danja has told EW to expect "a classic Madonna album".

Danja, who is co-producing some of the tracks with Timbaland, says that the album is "very up-tempo, upbeat and urban".

The first single from the album, featuring Justin Timberlake, is called '4 Minutes To Save The World'. Madonna and Timberlake made a video for the single in London last month.

Madonna plays a pimp who rescues the planet in the video.

The yet-to-be titled album will be Madonna's 11th studio record. Word leaked late last year that the album would be called 'Licorice' but that has since been denied by the Material Girl.

The album will be released in April.

Jessica Simpson - New Reality Show?

Singer Jessica Simpson is in talks to star in a new reality TV show that will document the recording of her next LP.

The 27-year-old has been in the studio recording her upcoming country LP - and her father/manager Joe Simpson insists she is eager to share the process with Country Music Television (CMT) viewers.

He explains, "With Newlyweds, she let everyone into her world. Then she had to shut the world out.

"Now she can open it up again so people can see, here's a girl struggling with self-esteem and finding her way. Country music is about storytelling, after all."

But a representative for the star explains tells UsMagazine.com the project is "not for a reality show. Jessica is finishing her country album in Nashville. They're in talks with CMT for a special timed to air when the album is released, but there's no truth whatsoever to there being a reality show."

Nelly Furtado's Pregnant!

Woah! It seems like a fashion to get pregnant these days, it's like "stuff the fashion! i wanna be pregnant instead" haha, but congratulations to Nelly Furtado :)!

Nelly Furtado is reportedly pregnant with her second child.

The 'Maneater' singer is said to be thrilled after learning she is expecting a baby with her sound engineer fiancé Demacio Castellon, but is trying to keep it a secret.

A source close to the singer told America's Star magazine: "She's not very far along yet, so she's trying to keep the pregnancy under wraps." However, a representative for Nelly - who already has a four-year-old daughter with ex-partner DJ Jasper Gahunia - insisted: "She is not pregnant."

Lies! that representative of Nelly's is just trying to keep it secret, i bet she's pregnant!

Justin Timberlake To Propose!?

Wow, Justin Timberlake could be planning to propose to Jessica Biel! (I didn't see that coming, did you?) I just never thought he was the type to get married and settle down, haha!

The 'SexyBack' singer - who has been dating Jessica for over a year - was seen shopping for engagement rings at famous New York jewellery store, Tiffany and Co.

An onlooker said: "Justin was really taking his time looking round the rings. He made the staff get a couple out of the cabinets so he could properly look at them.

"He didn't buy anything but told the manager he would think about it." Jessica recently revealed she and Justin much prefer snuggling up with the board game Scrabble than going out drinking and dancing.

She said: "We do a lot of dinner parties and we play board games. I absolutely love Scrabble!"

Madonna dreams of being a gypsy

Whoever thought Madonna would want to be a gypsy! Haha! The 49 year old singer - who premiered her directorial debut 'Filth and Wisdom' at the Berlin Film Festival on Wednesday night (13.02.08) - is drawn to a free-spirited existence like the film's star Eugene Hutz, the real-life lead singer of New York gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello.

She said: "I think, secretly, I want to be a gypsy. I love the idea of travelling round and playing music and letting life unfold in a spontaneous way."

Rihanna's celebrating (With cupcakes!)

Rihanna is celebrating her 20th birthday with a cupcake fight (wow that girl knows how to party! haha) the "Umbrella" singer who doesen't turn 20 until 20th February was partying with friends Kanye West and actor Wilmer Valderrama at Los Angeles "Les Deux" nightclub, An onlooker said "There was cupcake frosting all over Rihanna's face and the group was hysterically laughing to the point of almost tears!" Chris Brown, who is rumoured to be dating Rihanna, also gave a acapella version of "Happy Birthday"! however Chris still insists him and Rihanna are "just friends" ...Oh come on, reveal it already! Brit Awards 2008

Wow who else is looking forward to the Brit Awards on Wednesday 20th February? Some GREAT performances on that night will be: Paul McCartney, Kaiser Chiefs, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Mark Ronson, Mika and the fabulous Rihanna!! Wow, can't wait to watch, And i also hope Kylie wins Best International Album and Rihanna for Best International Female Artist, anyone else watching?

Rumours, Rumours, Rumours

The story of Britney Spears's upcoming world tour never stops with the rumours, But apparently yesterday (February 15th 2008) Britney Spears met with her record label Jive Records and was in talks to perform a series of worldwide appearances in 2008/2009. I hope this is true, because i can't wait to see her tour again, i hope she's 100% healthy and ready for the tour though, if so then i would SO get tickets to that, wouldn't you!?
